Going to the fair is a favorite summer pastime for many, and to this day, my eyes go wide when I walk through the food areas. Thankfully some of the food have evolved into slightly healthier options, but we all have our childhood favorites, and for the Queen Bee, it was the churro. Crispy, fried, warm, and you could get the chocolate sauce or caramel to dip it in. My eyes roll back in my head at the thought of them!
Fast forward to adulthood, and I’ve recreated this fair delight into lovely little cakelettes that allow you and your guests at your next gathering to create their own version of this heavenly delight - think your favorite ice cream of choice dolloped on top and then drizzled with either caramel or chocolate sauce. This is truly the dessert of dreams - one each guest can individualize to their tastes!
Like all bundt cakes, this one is a tender, perfectly crumbed cake that is dipped in butter and then rolled in cinnamon sugar to create that delightful crunch reminiscent of fried fair food - don’t worry, these are healthy since they are not fried 😘
