All of my goods are baked to order and are made in small batches. Please give a minimum of 72 hours (5 business days is best) for orders to be processed.
Delivery:
Free delivery within 15 miles of 03222. Delivery fees apply outside this area ($0.67 cents/mile, based on 2024 IRS standard milage).
Shipping:
Not everything can be shipped; this is based on any number of reasons: the delicate nature of an item, the perishability, the season, etc. Queen Bee’s reserves the right not to ship items based on these reasons.
Any item available for shipping will have a ** next to its name.
Queen Bee’s Kitchen uses an USPS & UPS approved shipping service. Shelf stable canned goods are shipped via the least expensive service available to the customer (usually it’s UPS with the service I use), and perishable food is shipped via UPS. While some items can sustain 3 day delivery, most will be shipped with a max of UPS 2 Day shipping. As well, a $6 handling fee is applied to all shipping costs, which covers the heavy duty shipping box and packaging materials and my time to pack.
While some goods can be shipped, no preservatives are used, so shipping will depend on the item, season, and where you live. When you agree to purchase an item that is shipped, you are agreeing to the fact that your item has a perishable quality, and Queen Bee’s Kitchen is not responsible for issues once the box has been delivered to post office or UPS. I will do my due diligence, shipping items within 24 hours of baking and send you a tracking number, but Queen Bee’s Kitchen cannot be responsible for delays in shipping due to COVID-19, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances while in transit.
If there are issues with damage to the box/contents based on delivery, please take photos and inform the Queen Bee ASAP so she can file a claim and get your damaged goods to you ASAP.
A note on the baked good packaging: The heat sealed bags baked goods are in can be recycled with any plastic bags and the paper boards can be recycled with newspapers.
A note on the packing materials: All packing materials within your hot pink goodie box are recycled, except the bubble wrap I use to ship jars because that has to be a thin wrap in order to properly protect the jars. We live semi-rural, and end up shipping a lot to our house based on inability to get it locally. Anything I can safely recycle from these boxes is reused to package my shipping boxes. I also have a friend who runs a hospital pharmacy who gives me the packaging from the countless boxes of pharmaceuticals that come in daily. I figure, if I can give this packaging another life before it hits the landfill… please pass this love along with anything you can reuse. Also, one of the jar companies I purchase from uses biodegradable and compostable packing peanuts. I’ll let you know when these appear :)
