M.F.K. Fisher once said, “The smell of good bread baking, like the sound of lightly flowing water, is indescribable in its evocation of innocence and delight.”
The smell of yeast rising is almost as euphoric to me as the actual smell of baking bread. The art of making bread is a Zen-like state for me: it takes time, patience, attention, a gentle but firm hand, and love. And then the baking stars align to create something divine.
This is definitely an area where you should check back often, as I will be adding more and more content here, since bread is one the most humble yet loving ways to share my joy for baking with you.
