Spiced Peach Melba Bellini

I’m thrilled to have been accepted into @originenaturals tastemakers program; I was drawn to this company because of their ethical and sustainable practices surrounding the spices they sell. And the company is all about telling the story, which I actually love! I’m excited for this opportunity to pair with this really cool small company and I hope you will try their ingredients and try some of the recipes that I share using their ingredients.

This Southern girl loves ripe peaches, and I’m jealous of those who have access to peaches far longer than I do in northern New England. this delightful cocktail celebrates a twist on a traditional cocktail, the Peach Bellini! Late Summer is the time when peaches are ripe locally and late raspberry crops are still on the bush, so why not combine peaches and raspberries in a Peach Melba Bellini!?

In today’s share, I’m making a transitional Summer to Fall cocktail- a Spiced Peach Melba Bellini that blends the delicious fruits of late summer with the warm spices of Fall!

I’m excited to hear what you think about all of this!

This is a “to taste” drink, meaning it’s all to your personal taste, so take what I’ve done and make it to your liking.

All the delish ingredients and tools to make it easier and fun are listed below recipe!

SPICED PEACH MELBA BELLINI:

makes 2-4 small glasses

*Two-three ripe peaches (peeled or not - your preference)
*Handful of fresh raspberries
*1 tbsp lemon juice (helps keep color of fruit from browning)
*1 tsp Origine Naturals Vanilla Extract
*1/2 tsp Origine Naturals Dragon Ground Cinnamon

1. Blend in blender until smooth.

2. Drop ice cubes in a tall glass, and pour mixture over ice, filling glass to about 1/3 - 1/2 full.

3. Add @stirrings simple syrup to taste (the riper the fruit, the less you’ll need)

4. Top with @lamarcaprosecco to taste.

5. Stir with stirrer to fully mix.

ENJOY!!

For a non-alcoholic version, you could use a light colored soda, seltzer, or tonic water.

You can also make large batches of this and freeze them in ice cube trays. When ready to drink, pop a few of the frozen cubes into a drink glass, then proceed at the add simple syrup step. This allows you to have fresh summer vibes all winter long!
